The Perfect Person

I write this sitting here on my bed when my son is playing beside me with his magnetic toys. He looked at me with his shiny eyes filled with joy and says, ?Mama! Look, I made this perfect person?. I look at him and smile in confirmation as if he has achieved a goal as big as climbing Mount Everest, and suddenly wonder aren?t we all looking for that perfect person- in ourselves and in others? Who is that perfect person? What is perfection anyways? I have spent all my life looking for that perfection and what it brings in the end? Only more dissatisfaction, only more disappointments and only more heart breaks. Truth of life is that there is no perfection in it. Perfection is to see imperfect things with acceptance and forgiveness and acknowledge them with their flaws. It is to make a perfect world inside you and live off that.
